The biggest feature as follows:
1.The air flow in the adjacent packing units is slowly change the its direction.
2.Air flow under the connection position between adjacent packing unit's movment is very similar to tower axis direction, air speed will reduce 25% with compared to airflow of tower packing inside.
The above two points reduce the pressure drop and shear force, and overcome the flooding phenomenon at the joint of the packing.
3.Large number of transfer unit per meter,small pressure drop
4.Max operation temperature is 90-150 degree.
Installation
1:According to the tower equipment diagram,and make sure that packing installation heights is correct.
2:When installing, it should always be poured from a certain height away from the packing layer. People should not stand directly on the packing to prevent the packing from deformation and uneven density. Wooden boards can be laid on the packing to disperse the force.
3:Other sundries, packaging bags, etc. is forbidden during the installation
4:Generally filled by random packing
5:After finished, if there is unevenness, use a wooden strip to naturally push it flat

Application:
Typical Application field for random packing are flue gas scrubbers,strippers,pre-coolers in air separation plants or amine scrubbers for CO2 Separation from flue gases as well as heat recovery scrubbers.
