A hollow ball molded from synthetic resin, perforated at both ends, with radial windows punched around the perforations, leaving one side edge and the perforated part protruding inward. The spherical surface has fine indentations that facilitate liquid diffusion, and its large surface area and space factor make it particularly suitable for absorbing corrosive gases with a high liquid-to-gas ratio and for dust removal.
