Plastic 252y Structured packing is curve packing channel. Traditionally, when the gas and the liquid passing from one packing layer to the other in ordinary structured packing layer,it is very easy to form Secondary distribution. this secondary distribution is not only reduce vapor and liquid contacting area, but also easy to blockage in Inside the packing layer. The pressure difference of top and bottome tower is more bigger than 252 plastic structured packing.
Therefore they are vertically oriented at the bottom and the top of each packing element. This leads to a smooth change of the flow direction at the transition area from one the next element. Furthermore at that position the gas velocity is reduced. Both features derate the pressure loss and the dange of flooding.
Feature as follows:
1.The air flow in the adjacent packing units is slowly change the its direction.
2.Air flow under the connection position between adjacent packing unit's movment is very similar to tower axis direction, air speed will reduce 25% with compared to airflow of tower packing inside.
The above two points reduce the pressure drop and shear force, and overcome the flooding phenomenon at the joint of the packing.
3.Large number of transfer unit per meter,small pressure drop
4.Max operation temperature is 90-150 degree.

Installation
1:According to the tower equipment diagram,and make sure that packing installation heights is correct.
2:When installing, it should always be poured from a certain height away from the packing layer. People should not stand directly on the packing to prevent the packing from deformation and uneven density. Wooden boards can be laid on the packing to disperse the force.
3:Other sundries, packaging bags, etc. is forbidden during the installation
4:Generally filled by random packing
5:After finished, if there is unevenness, use a wooden strip to naturally push it flat
