Product Description

Product Description:

When the flue gas with droplets enters the demister channel, the gas-liquid separation is realized due to the deflection of the streamline and the inertial force of the airflow, and some droplets are trapped when they hit the defogger blade. The drops are continuously collected on the defogger blades and returned to the washing pool to a certain extent under their own gravity. The solid matter remaining on the demister blades is also recovered into the washing tank under the action of the flushing water. Such a circulating working defogger can not only play the role of demisting and purifying, but also does not cause blockage due to its own fouling, which affects the normal operation of the system.

Structural features:

1. The shape of the blade is sinusoidal, the surface is smooth, easy to be washed, and the risk of clogging is reduced;
2. the blade is designed with hooks and ribs to intercept very small droplets;
3. The defogger is easy to maintain;
4. The drainage system is uniquely designed to completely empty the intercepted slurry.

How to works:

The diameter of the dispersed droplets in the gas encountered in normal chemical operations is about 0.1 to 5000 μm. Generally, the particles having a particle diameter of 100 μm or more are easily settled due to the rapid sedimentation rate. Generally, droplets larger than 50 μm in diameter can be separated by gravity sedimentation; droplets above 5 μm can be used for inertial collision and centrifugal separation; for smaller droplets, try to aggregate them to form larger particles, or use fiber filters and Electrostatic defogger. The wire mesh demister is mainly used for separating droplets having a diameter of more than 3 μm to 5 μm.

When the misty gas rises at a certain speed and passes through the wire mesh placed on the grille, the mist collides with the filament and adheres to the surface of the filament due to the inertia of the rising mist. The mist on the surface of the filament is further diffused and the gravity of the mist itself settles, causing the mist to form larger droplets along the filament to its interlacing. Due to the wettability of the filament, the surface tension of the liquid, and the capillary action of the filament, the droplet is made larger and larger, until its own gravity exceeds the combined force of the buoyancy of the gas and the surface tension of the liquid, and is separated and falls. Flow to the downstream equipment of the container. As long as the conditions such as the operating gas velocity are properly selected, the defoaming efficiency of the gas after passing through the wire mesh demister can reach 97% or more, and the purpose of completely removing the mist can be achieved.
