  thermal fractionating high performance packing :
It is formed from corrugated sheets of perforated embossed metal or wire gauze. The result is a very open honeycomb structure with inclined flow channels giving a relatively high surface area but with very low resistance to gas flow. The surface enhancements have been chosen to maximize liquid spreading. These characteristics tend to show significant performance benefits in low pressure and low irrigation rate applications. Metal Structured Packing is manufactured in a wide range of sizes by different crimp altitude. The Packing Surface ranges from 50 m²/m³ (lowest efficiency, highest capacity) to 750 m²/m³ ( highest efficiency, lowest capacity ). 

High capacity 252Y is also available, which is similar in construction to standard 250Y except for a subtle modification in the geometry of the corrugation at the top and bottom of each packing layer to avoid increasing the pressure drop at layer interface.

Installation Instructions

Installation
1:According to the tower equipment diagram,and make sure that packing installation heights is correct.
2:When installing, it should always be poured from a certain height away from the packing layer. People should not stand directly on the packing to prevent the packing from deformation and uneven density. Wooden boards can be laid on the packing to disperse the force.
3:Other sundries, packaging bags, etc. is forbidden during the installation
4:Generally filled by random packing
5:After finished, if there is unevenness, use a wooden strip to naturally push it flat
