It is belongs to support components,which usually install in the bottom of packing layer. Owing to gas will pass through support components from the tower bottom, the size of the opening area will determine the flux and gas distribution. Over 75% opening area guarantees the free flow of gas and liquid and 3 mm plate thickness ensures that each product can withstand 300 kg (or more) of load.

The hexa-grid is a modern flat bar support plate recommended for use in mass transfer process  which highly prone to fouling. this applies,for instance, to substance system tending towards polymerization which coat the surface of the support plate.the hexa-grid support grid plate is designed to ensure high degrees of solidity with a minimum material input.The Vertical Support rods are shaped so as to make it impossible for the dumped packings to block the orifices.
