Ceramic Corrugated Structured Packing

• Corrugated sheets placed in parallel form cylindrical units
• Form of highly efficient with separating efficiency several times higher than that of loose packing
• Low-pressure drop, increased operating elasticity, minimum amplifying effect and maximum liquid treatment compared to loose tower packing
• High capacity
• New tower design may reduce diameter, while renovate old towers may increase capacity significantly
• Rectifying and absorbing some corrosive mixtures, which are definitely regulated in pressure drop and theoretic plate number

Examples of successful application:

1. Chloroacetic acid / Dichloroacetic acid / acetic acid / acetic anhydride separation at room's temperature 140 degrees.

2. Vacuum to or below 1 mbar, separation of aromatic chlorides, esters, hydrocarbons and other highly temperature sensitive material isomers.

3.  Regeneration of organic solvent  of pollution of HCl / sulfate / nitrate / three hydride / hydrogen bromide / bromine and etc.

Detailed description of each type of product

1. 700Y,500Y

The filler has low resistance, high efficiency, large separation capacity, and can replace other fillers or partial plate towers under certain conditions.

Product Features:
a. Large specific surface area and large porosity;
b. The gas phase passage has a small inclination angle, regularity and pressure reduction;
c. Radial diffusion is good and gas contact is sufficient.

Applicable occasions:
500Y (X): vacuum rectification which is heat sensitive and difficult to separate, especially vacuum distillation with a pressure less than 7 KPa, atmospheric distillation.
700Y (X): separation of isotopic mixtures, isomeric mixtures.

2. 450Y,450X

It is used for precision fractionation with high requirements on the mass transfer efficiency of the tower. It is especially suitable for chemical production processes such as acetic acid, methanol and styrene, and separation of high-purity fine chemical products. The adaptation conditions are roughly as follows:
Gas phase load factor, F=1.5~3(m/s)[Kg.m3]1/2
Minimum liquid load, L (spray density) ≥ 2m3 / m2.h

3. 350Y,300Y,250Y

The product combines the two main properties of pressure drop and efficiency in the mass transfer process. Especially suitable for atmospheric pressure in the refining process.
Distillation and low pressure fractionation columns, such as catalytic cracking, catalytic cracking, hydrocracking, hydrorefining, coking, catalytic reforming, etc. Separation of products in light hydrocarbon processing such as MTBE, isomerization, alkylation, gas fractionation, etc. The product separation of the device is also applicable to the separation of chemical products such as ethylbenzene and styrene and the absorption tower of sulfuric acid, nitric acid and hydrochloric acid. Mass transfer efficiency can reach 2-4 theoretical plates / m packing, pressure drop 1-5mmhg / m filler.
