Filter Media Biological Aquarium Sponge Filters Bio Balls:
Bio Ball Filter media of the relevant dimensions can replace all or part of the mineral-based media to improve system efficiency
where it has become impaired by overloading. The surface textures of bio ball media enable biomass or bacteria to adhere more
effectively to reduce the loss of media due to installation procedures.
The Spherical shape and multitude of recessed cavities which each have their own air ports produce an ideal shape to grow and feed micro biological biota. The Bio Ball is made from a plastic which has a specific gravity of approx .98. Allowing the sphere to float freely, and making allowance for the extra weight of the growing biota to ensure that the balls will cycle down to the bottom of the aeration chamber. They then rise through the column of air bubbles to the surface again thus constantly traveling through both the food source and the oxygen stream.

Installation
1:According to the tower equipment diagram,and make sure that packing installation heights is correct.
2:When installing, it should always be poured from a certain height away from the packing layer. People should not stand directly on the packing to prevent the packing from deformation and uneven density. Wooden boards can be laid on the packing to disperse the force.
3:Other sundries, packaging bags, etc. is forbidden during the installation
4:Generally filled by random packing
5:After finished, if there is unevenness, use a wooden strip to naturally push it flat
