Metal Raschig Ring
Friedrich rasig invented these rings in the 1880s, but they were not patented until the 1910s. Because of a simple cylindrical tube with an aspect ratio of 1:1, the liquid will move through thousands of channels formed by rings, covering the inner and outer surfaces and eventually flowing to the bottom. The gas entering the bottom will flow through the same path formed by the rings and have time to come into contact with the liquid and react.
The main features of the tower are high flux, small metal resistance, etc
Scope of application: it is especially suitable for vacuum distillation column to deal with materials with heat sensitivity, decomposition, polymerization and carbon deposition.
