Koi Pond filter media has a reputation for being a nitrate factory,where there is no room for any anaerobic nitrate bacteria growing.but it is like as a home of for those bacteria growring,such as Nitrifying bacteria. It aim to assist in the population growth of beneficial bacteria. Owing to this ball's material is plastic,so it is very easy to float on water surface. Unique guilding flow slot & plate will promote liquid evenly distribution. Bio-sponge inside provide more surface area for benefical bacteria growth. When Toxic water containing ammonia will flow through the Opening bio balls, Good bacteria on the surface of bio balls will break down ammonia into nitrites.Although Nitrifying bacteria attached on Opening bio ball can remove Nitrate from the aquarium water,then still you can not skip regular water changes.Therefore, bio balls should usually be used as an additional media to bio rings or bio sticks which, as discussed previously, can harbour ammonia, nitrite and nitrate eating bacteria.Most frequently used in sumps, pond filters and canister filters.

Typical Application:
1:Water tank filtration
Opening Pore bio ball is essential for the growth of beneficial bacteria in your tank. They come with small holes and ridges, which allow the beneficial bacteria to grow in them.
2:Used in biochemical filtration systems in seawater, but also in biochemical filtration systems in freshwater, perfect for using as fish tank filter, aquarium filter and pond filter media.
Installation
1:According to the tower equipment diagram,and make sure that packing installation heights is correct.
2:When installing, it should always be poured from a certain height away from the packing layer. People should not stand directly on the packing to prevent the packing from deformation and uneven density. Wooden boards can be laid on the packing to disperse the force.
3:Other sundries, packaging bags, etc. is forbidden during the installation
4:Generally filled by random packing
5:After finished, if there is unevenness, use a wooden strip to naturally push it flat
