The diameter of the dispersed droplets in the gas encountered in normal chemical operations is about 0.1 to 5000 μm. Generally, the particles having a particle diameter of 100 μm or more are easily settled due to the rapid sedimentation rate. Generally, droplets larger than 50 μm in diameter can be separated by gravity sedimentation; droplets above 5 μm can be used for inertial collision and centrifugal separation; for smaller droplets, try to aggregate them to form larger particles, or use fiber filters and Electrostatic defogger. When the misty gas rises at a certain speed and passes through the wire mesh placed on the grille, the mist collides with the filament and adheres to the surface of the filament due to the inertia of the rising mist.
